Upcoming Executive Elections
Hello Fellow Knights,
As I mentioned at our last meeting and in the newsletter, the time for electing our Executive for the next fraternal year is here. I encourage all who are a Third Degree member or higher to consider standing for a position on our Executive. As someone who has held a number of positions on the Executive I can assure you that the duties of these positions are doable. The duties can be leaned quickly and there will be all the support that is needed. If you are unable to stand for a position but would like to nominate someone you think would be a worthy member please contact Brother Bob Murphie at 604-468-8405 or @ bmurphie@telus.net . Also nominations will be accepted from the floor at our June meeting. I am attaching the duties for the various positions for your information. I will not be standing for the position of Grand Knights this year so there will definitely need to be someone to come forward and stand for this position. I would like to note that the support that I received while Grand Knight, from former Grand Knights and the membership at large was exceptional and I pledge to do all I can to support the next and future Grand Knights in any way I can. So Brothers, please consider standing or supporting our Executive, for without them there will be no Council.
